Philippians 3:13-14
Started writing this song in my head back in 2018 during a Saturday morning walk at the junior high school track near my home. Got home quickly as I put the opening lyrics to paper. Faithful Promises was one of the songs where the lyrics and music just seemed to flow out of me. It started with more of a heavier rock beat, but I ended up slowing it down to allow the bluesy feel to shine through a bit more. Love the bridge and the ending of this song. Great message of God's promises and lots of fun to play...
